Awareness Competition: One day the benefits of spiritual deception

Many seek spirituality through suffering. I have found my way through years of sadness, anxiety and frustration. Part of the awareness process is identifying behaviors, qualities, habits or ideas that are not serving you. As your behavior changes, so does your diet. Not just what you eat, but everything you use, including what you hear, see, read, and pay attention to.

Orthorexia is a term that implies unhealthy emphasis on healthy eating. This sounds like a distraction, because healthy eating improves overall health. However, there is a suggestion here - eating well can be an emotion. You may feel anxious about eating junk food, and your desire to eat well may affect your social life, or you may feel guilty about spending time.

Your spiritual nourishment is not free from its own orthorexia. Healthy spiritual eating - such as reading, reading spiritual passages, spending time in nature, serving others - improves your spiritual health. But there is a tipping point.

Would you like to spend an evening watching Netflix? Or what to eat? Or be confused? Or the power to serve? Or back before reacting with anger?

When you feel anxious, don’t you want to write or meditate or think and separate the root cause? What if you don’t want to “spend your trembling time” or repeat your thoughts? If you want to eat ice cream or go out with friends, have a glass of wine or watch the Champions League?

There will come a time when you will no longer want to eat junk food, because street food will satisfy you more than anything else. At this point, instead of trying too hard to resist, it is even more beneficial to be surprised and sometimes show no guilt or shame.

Conservation of consciousness

In psychology, avoidance behavior is defined as behavior or the desire to mature from the real. I have divided the nation into two categories: unconscious and conscious. This is an important difference, because most people who practice meditation and mindfulness are somewhat aware when they are involved in unhealthy behavior.

Lack of awareness about unconscious survival. It is an early, self-driven response to some uncomfortable feeling. It’s not wrong or bad, it’s the only way to learn to handle it. But in the case of spiritual growth and healing, avoiding ignorance perpetuates suffering. It takes us away from discomfort and ultimately takes ourselves away from us.

But instead of running away consciously, he examines the underlying feelings and decides to accept them before deciding to feel them. Maybe you’re just tired or just need a feeling of relief, or just want to watch a movie. All of these options are good and don’t make you “spiritual” in any way. Quite the opposite: choosing a stupid activity can be a great act of self-empathy.

Consciousness is the food of consciousness

Surviving consciously means adopting traditional theological deviations, sometimes knowing that cheating on food does not reflect your overall diet. Identify where you are and allow yourself to rely on the mechanical behavior of the temporary relief provider, fully aware that this is not the ideal solution.

To stay in good physical shape, a manageable and balanced routine and diet is better than high intensity, high intensity crush and routine diet. Start with a high intensity, you will probably get bored and be able to go back to your old ways. Instead, you can increase the intensity as you improve and adopt new habits, or you will find that eating well becomes easier.

There is no reason to deviate from the spiritual path. Over the years I have experienced extreme feelings of self-deprivation because of the beliefs surrounding the spiritual person ... Don’t get angry, eat nachos or other unhealthy foods, chat with, like to buy. New clothes, curses, your finances ...) Processing delays

Only when I allow myself to be aware can I understand what really benefits me.

Most of the time, supportive friends and family who could tell me I needed to take a vacation were encouraged to try this path. I always push myself, I always set high standards for myself and these qualities of perfection are exploited in my spiritual practice.

My traditional need for survival has diminished over time. This does not mean, however, that I will skip any rehearsal sessions to lighten my practice, or that I will not watch episodes of lesser community policy if it seems right to me. Going too far because of spiritual desire creates stress and even annoyance towards my practice.

Spiritual food and wisdom

Caution: Avoiding awareness is not an excuse to choose the path of minimum resistance. The ego can also hijack this idea, weaving a web of deception that seeks out the reasons and causes that you can’t meditate on or why your unique spiritual path is illuminated by the Game of Thrones.

Beware of this and follow the standard diet policy. Understand which foods are good and which are not. I know that I should eat well most of the time to have a healthy diet. I know that if I always have too much fat and sugar with junk food, it will reduce my health. But I know that sometimes the treatment is good.

It is a matter of trial and error to know when to do the work and when to do it. It takes time, practice and self-discipline. You need empathy for that time when you are too involved, sometimes knowing that the extra path leads to the Buddha Palace.

When you gain strength with your practice, you can feel the tendency to do it all. The joy and inspiration that comes from meditation, spiritual discussion, ideas or seeking growth or healing creates a sense of greater aspiration. You may think that the spiritual path is the call of your life and you will do your best to honor it.

It is beautiful and it is important to appreciate the innocence of this inner inspiration. However, I want to tell you here that you can take a day off. You can breathe, take breaks, and take time to grow and develop. To be able to.
